I began my love for writing when I was in junior high school. As a part of my language course, whether I want it or not, I had to make writing works. I began appreciating my own works, and as the years progressed, writing became easier for me.
Moving on to high school, I was given the chance to follow a creative writing workshop. The foundation where my workshop took place was built by a respected Economy & Business professor and writer from the most prestigious university in my country. My tutors were his disciples. It was so much fun and I felt really honored to have been chosen for the workshop.
I started off as a fanfic writer. Back then, I was a massive fan of the Tolkien lore. The Hobbit movie was where I began my obsession. Honestly, Thranduil made me swoon. I started reading The Hobbit, then I watched all of The Lord of the Rings movies, and read The Fellowship of the Ring. I never finished reading it, though. I had to invest so much time and I left the book in my home country. I thought, if I couldn’t find a fanfiction work that satisfied me, might as well write one myself.
Fun fact: I memorized the Dwarf Runes back in 9th grade. My friend and I would sometimes write using Dwarf Runes so no one else could understand what we were writing. Sneaky.
As a person, I like to daydream and imagine. One of the way of bringing those imaginations to life is through writing. My works might not be the best, but it’s better to have them out where people can also see a glimpse of what I’m seeing alone.
I also have a thing for oriental culture and I’ve always loved historical arts. Be it dramas, costume, stories, everything. I try my best to stay true to the culture and I welcome all criticism with an open mind.
